In a swift and decisive move on this 17th day of April 2025, Dr. Sokari Ibifuro Francis, PhD, LSN, Ambassador of Peace, the Sole Administrator of Degema Local Government Area, has officially dissolved all standing and ad hoc committees of the council with immediate effect.

Following the dissolution, all former committee members have been instructed to promptly hand over any council properties in their possession to the Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA).

Expressing gratitude for their dedicated services and contributions, the council Administrator has extended good wishes to the former committee members in their future endeavours.
