In an interview with Arise TV, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, a former Rivers State Governor and former Minister of Transportation, emphasised his belief in the importance of honesty. Amaechi claimed that his commitment to telling the truth is rooted in his desire to go to heaven. He asserted that he would remain truthful in any circumstance, even when faced with a threat to his life. Amaechi attributed his dedication to honesty to his fear of God, asserting that he would be truthful in all aspects of his life, from politics to his personal relationships. He further expressed that honesty has always been an integral part of his character.
