Women from the oldest community in the Eastern Niger Delta, Ke, has felicitated with the Chief Executive Officer of Belemaoil Producing Ltd, Engr. Tein Jackrich, over the peaceful resolution of the dispute and the acquisition of right on the operation of Oil Mining Lease (OML25).
Our correspondent was at Ke Community in Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State as the community women celebrate the peaceful resolution of the dispute on the operation of OML25.
Speaking to DON.ng, the women from the oldest community in the oil-producing Niger Delta said: “Belemaoil victory of resuming production of oil mining in the OML25 is a victory for the people of Kula, the Kalabari, the Niger Delta and Nigeria as a whole. The peaceful resolution of the dispute in favour of the good people of Niger Delta did not come to us as a surprise, given the company exemplary track record in executing corporate social responsibility”.
“Kalabari Kingdom has achieved several milestones of development and support within these periods the Belemaoil came into operation as an Oil Producing company. No host communities with an oil-producing company have ever benefitted in terms of scholarship, employments, provision of social amenities and empowerment in the way and manner host communities to the Belemaoil has benefited”.
“The Chief Executive Officer of Belemaoil Producing Ltd, Tein Jackrich has continued winning streak by building bridges of understanding and encouraging dialogue as a way of resolving differences. Indeed, Tein have brought peace between host communities, and this has impacted positively on the region. Belemaoil deserve more to make our region better”.
“Engr. Tein recent achievement in securing the right to commence operation in the OML 25, is therefore an eloquent testimony of the acceptance of visionary and community friendly mode of operation”.
“Belemaoil did not only get the license to operate, but the company also helped make history by supporting the voice of God, as the saying goes that; the voice of the people is the voice of God”.

Also, the women of Ke community whole heartedly appreciated the National President of Nigeria Youth Council, Amb. Sukubo Saraigbe and the President and Founder of Kengema Unity Forum, Amb. Sobomabo Jackrich, a.k.a Egberipapa for their passion in mobilizing and campaigning for the interest of the good people of Kula, the Kalabari Kingdom and Nigeria as whole. They added that the efforts Sukubo and Egberipapa has contributed to effect the peaceful resolution of the dispute on OML25 in favour of the people shall never go unnoticed or in vain.

Furthermore, the amazons of the Niger Delta commended the effort of His Excellency, President Muhammedu Buhari for putting the enabling environment to resolve the dispute. They indicated that; “the direction, the Federal Government took in resolving the issue is divine and it is only he who have the people at heart that can hear it. The president did noble in swiftly resolving the dispute at the right time”.
