 NATIONAL PDP EX-COUNCILLORS FORUM EMBARKS ON A SOLIDARITY WALK IN SUPPORT OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF RIVERS STATE NEIGHBORHOOD SAFETY AGENCY. 

The Rivers State Neighborhood Safety Agency bill recently signed into law by the Executive Governor of Rivers State Chief Barr E. N Wike,  received yet another support as the Rivers State chapter of National PDP Ex-councillors Forum  under the leadership of Chief Hon Prince Weli-Wosu embarked on a solidarity walk in support of the law establishing the agency. 
The forum which is chaired in Rivers State by Hon. LoveGod Nweze, were on a peaceful demonstration  at Rivers State government house to register their support for the initiative of the Wike led administration which is geared toward improving security in Rivers State.

Addressing journalists at the rally, the deputy National chairman and the leader of the forum in the state, chief hon. Weli-wosu JP, espressed his disappointment at those criticising the establishment of the agency and maintained that their reason for kicking against the establishment of the agency may not be far from the fact that when the agency kick off operation will checkmate their evil machinations against Rivers people, especially as it relates to the 2019 general election and their resolve to make rivers state ungovernable for the Wike led administration.
Moreso, Hon. Weli-wosu started that the rate at which the opposition APC in Rivers State, politicise every positive effort of the  Rivers State government is malicious and goes to show that the members of APC in Rivers State are yet to recover from the defeat they suffered in the state at 2015 election.
Hon. Weli-wosu further enjoined the people of good conscience to always stand steadfast with the state governor, governor Ezebunwo Wike in his defense for the integrity of Rivers people.
On his part, the state chairman of the forum, Hon. LoveGod Nweze in his address at the rally, lauded the state house of assembly for the speedy passage of the law, establishing the agency.
Continuing, Hon. LoveGod declared that members of the forum across the 23 local government areas of the state are solidly behind the Wike led government on the establishment of the agency and warned that the forum will resist any attempt by opposition APC to set up an illegal neighborhood security to sabotage the effort of the Rivers State neighborhood security corps.
The walk which commenced from PH-Aba express road to the Rivers State government house gate, was fully attended by members of the forum across the 23 local government areas of Rivers State.
Engr. Emeka Woke, the Rivers State government house chief of staffs, who alongside with powerful delegates to welcome the forum excos and her members on behalf of the state governor, governor E.N Wike, CON, GSSR, as the governor was already engaged in a crucial meeting already at the arrival of the forum members to government house.
In his welcome speech, the Rivers State government house chief of staff Engr. Emeka Woke expressed his satisfaction in the peaceful disposition of the forum's peaceful walk to government house, he stated that the forum showed maturity, and it exemplify the fact that they are matured people for leadership at the grassroot level.
He applauded the forum for their various mobilization effort at the grassroot, and thanked them for educating and informing the people at the grassroot of the programs and policies of the Wike led government.
Furthermore, the state house chief of staff, stated that the reason why government signed into law the neighborhood peace corps is to ensure safety environment, by combating crime to the bearest  minimum and to also create employment. He assured the forum that the state government can not and will not be harassed or  intimidated by the opposition.
