The National PDP ex-councillors forum, Rivers State chapter were at the Port Harcourt resident of the state pdp chairman Bro. Felix Obuah for a condolence visit over the demise of his sister.
Speaking to the bereaved state pdp chairman Bro Felix Obuah, the deputy national chairman and state leader of the forum Chief Hon. Prince Weli-wosu, had expressed his heartfelt pity over the demise of the sister to bro. Felix Obuah, he said God giveth and God has taken. He prayed that God grant the pdp state chairman the heart to bear the lose, as he, chief hon. Weli-wosu learnt the close relationship bro. Obuah had with his late sister.
He also, passed on the message of condolence by the national chairman of the forum the national exco's of the forum as time and distance will not permit them the desired opportunity to visit bro. Obuah in person to condole with him.
Chief hon. Weli-wosu also pray God to guide the state pdp chairman and his family through the burial process of his sister and asked that the forum be reached for any assistant that might be needed from them by the state chairman and his family.
Also, the state chairman of the National PDP ex-councillors forum Hon. LoveGod Nweze, who led the team to the resident of the bereaved, pdp state chairman Bro. Felix Obuah, in his speech said the scripture has commanded christians to mourn their with brethren in times of mourning, and so that the leadership and members of the forum have come to mourn with bro. Obuah. He also encouraged bro. Obuah to be strong to bear the lose even as the leader and head of his family, even as he receives more condolence visit from well wishers.
Responding to the condolence speeches, the rivers state pdp chairman bro. Felix Obuah, appreciated the forum for visiting to console him at this very period of a great lose. He said indeed, no matter how he and his family cry and wail that it will never bring back his dead sister and so said " what matters most, is when one is faced with the challenges of life, and the people around with well wishers come together to commensurate with him, that is what gives him strength ". And so he appreciated the forum for their visit and said " money may not buy what they've done, by visiting him in time like this".
Continuing, he said no matter how strong you are as a human being, when you are down, but by seeing friends who come together to give you words of encouragement and wisdom, it gladdens you.
He promised to inform of the agreed date of the burial after his family members must have meet to fix the date for the burial.
