The National pdp ex-councillors forum deputy chairman and the state leader in rivers state and the state chairman with few exco's of the forum were at Rumuokrosi in Port Harcourt, to inspect the ongoing renovation of the office of the forum's obio akpor chapter which is scheduled to be commissioned soon.
Addressing newsmen, the state chairman of the national pdp ex-councillors forum, Hon. LoveGod Nweze applauded members of obio akpor chapter of the forum especially the chapter's coordinator Chief Hon. Hope Uche, for the giant step he took in securing an office space for his chapter's and also used the medium to advise other LGA chapter's to follow suit. He also appreciated the state leader Chief Hon. Weli-Wosu for setting a good pace for the rest of the members to follow.
Also, the forum's state secretary, Hon. Steve ogan who was also present at the inspection also lauded the obio akpor LGA coordinator of the forum for the idea of getting an office space for his chapter. He used the medium to call on the leadership of pdp in the LGA to acknowledge the good work that the forum is doing to promote the cause of the party in the state. He also used the medium to encourage his colleagues in the other divide to join pdp and the forum so that together they can move the state forward.
On his part, the state financial secretary of the forum, Hon. Iyowuna Tariah also commended members of the forum in obio akpor and their chapter coordinator, he said Hon. Hope Uche have set a good example and advised others to follow suit.
Meanwhile, the obio akpor coordinator of the forum, Chief Hon. Hope Uche, began his speech at the inspection of his chapter office by first appreciating O.K Chinda, a member of the National Assembly and Hon. Martins Amaehule, a member of the Rivers state house of assembly for all of their advise and support. He also appreciated Chief Hon. Prince Weli-wosu, the forum's national deputy chairman and state leader for being a good leader to the forum, that others can emulate, as well as the state chairman Hon. LoveGod Nweze and others for their relentless support.
He went further to say, that they have struggled to secure the office, but that the struggle was worth it, because of the 2019 election; that by securing of the office, the forum as a grassroot mobilizer now have a place to sensitize and educate people, especially on the need to vote Governor E.N Wike back into office in 2019. He added, that nothing will by any chance wave his faith and work for the forum and pdp, even though he left office as a member of the care taker committee in obio akpor without salary, but promised never to loose focus.
According to him, he said he will always heed to the advise of Hon. O.K Chinda, to continue to work for the enhancement of the party because no worker who ever work for the party will be forgotten.
