Egberipapa, leader of Kengema Unity Forum, the most formidable group, championing the advocacy for development in the Kalabari Kingdom, carefully withdraw from the chairmanship race for the upcoming June 16th, 2018 Local Government election.
“I, Honourable Sobomabo Jackrich popularly known as Egberi Papa, leader of the Kengema Unity Forum after a careful consideration and consultations, hereby announce my withdrawal from Asari Toru Chairmanship race in the upcoming June 16th Local Government elections in Rivers State.”
The grassroots mobilizer and the political advocate, Egberi Papa who have successfully pioneered for the success of many politicians across the Kalabari Kingdom and the state, assured his teaming supporters and the well-meaning individuals of the state that his withdrawal from the race is not as a result of weakness or perceived failure.
“Please note that this decision is not a sign of weakness or perceived failure ahead of the June 16th polls, as my popularity and grassroots support in the three LGAs that up the Kalabari Kingdom can be generally attested.”
“I sincerely apologize to all members of the ASALGA New Dawn campaign organization, Kengema Unity Forum, Network for the Defense of Democracy and Good Governance, my teaming supporters, friends, associates and the PDP family in ASALGA and Rivers State in general for any inconvenience this decision might cause.”
